Drink a glass of water

Drink water to boost your energy.

Your body needs water for many functions, and not getting enough can cause brain fog.  To keep yourself mentally sharp, drink a full glass of water after waking up. The electrolytes in the H2O will help with concentration and staying focused on what you’re doing. Plus, it’ll make your skin glow!  Drinking a glass of water is one little idea that could make all the difference in how you feel during your day.

Another little idea for a better morning.

Stretching in the morning is an easy way to make sure you are moving and feeling good throughout your day. It also helps prevent aches and pains that can come from sitting too much.

Every morning, when the alarm goes off and it’s time to start your day, take 5-10 minutes to do some light stretching. Light stretching means that you should only stretch until you feel a slight tension in the muscles before returning to your starting position. This will help get your blood flowing and loosen up tight muscles so that you can have an easier time waking up.  Start by standing straight with feet shoulder width apart and arms at your sides (straight out) then bend forward from the waist as far as is comfortable without rounding shoulders or bending knees past toes. Allow back to move naturally while keeping chest lifted; return slowly to starting position and repeat 3 times on each side.

Put on some music that makes you happy or energizes you.

The mornings are tough and can be a little bit of a drag. If you’re feeling uninspired in the morning, try listening to music that makes you happy or energizes you. It’s important to start your day off on the right foot by making it fun! It works not only for the morning mood but also any other time of the day.

Music can have a powerful impact on the mood of those around us. Playing happy or energizing music in your home will make you happier and more productive.
